Looky here... if you got time and money to get your block seriously done up (figure on a couple to several grand worth of work to make your block woth messing around with), then call Steve at 905 731 7026
The reason I say that, cuz you got the block out, may as well do everything you can afford to do to it done in one shot... plus parts and gaskets. I'm sure it can be done cheap, but what good is a raped block??

Posting is only a good option if you can do the work yourself. As soon as you start paying for others labour, you may as well get it done right.

do It yourself, but dont cheap out and buy regular posts...
they first need to be heat treated so when your block expands, they do too, instead of warping or pushing the decks out of place..
they are cheap, and easy to seal off.

Though cylindrical shapes are a fairly strong shape I don't see any other benefits to doing this. Could you point me to some more information regarding this please? Thanks
