Are there codes that distinguish what brakes are from what model?

Also are the rotors the same size?

And are calipers different?

the caliper and caliper brackets are different. i had this issue when trying to put on front pads. i thought i had integra front discs but instead i had sirs. they are the same size but just different size calipers. the integras are better because the pads are thicker than SIR.

so if i want to put gsr front brakes on can i just put on gsr calipers and will the setup work or do i have to put all gsr front components?

also does anyone know if there are codes on calipers?

SiR = Si = GSR front

DX = CX front

SIR, SI, all 2001 and up civics are the same. Has bigger rotor, same size as integra's except the R.
CX, DX are the smaller rotors
All integra's use nissin calipers for the front and rear.
Integra calipers have a a bigger piston over the SIR and SI calipers.
If you want to use integra calipers you'll have to use the integra bracket too. It will bolt onto the si/sir knuckle.
