How much do you know??

was wondering if anyone knows alot about springs only.

i'm changing my springs on my 96 honda civic Si coupe.

want to have the best stock ride. so what stock springs in any honda or acura car gives the best performance in terms of ride quality and not handling..

something that is a factory spring NOT AFTER MARKET and one that will fit my car.

any help would be great

if you could email me that would be even sweeter thanks

why would you want to degrade your handing? you stock springs are as crappy as they get... so just keep those

If you really wanted, you could go to a 1992-93 VX or CX spring for your car... those were the lightest Civics, and consequently will have the softest springs.

how about H&R OE sport?
they maintain close to "stock height" and offer a stiffer spring rate for improved handling.

so.... has your question changed??? do you want to know the best ride quality or the best handling OEM spring? Make up your mind.... cuz here you tell us you want the best ride quality, and in the other post you tell us you want the best peformance? So which is it?

stay away from koni red shocks. in my experience, they are a garbage shock. Very bouncy. No other reputable shock on the market has problems with unstable oscillations driving in a straight line. The Tokico blue is an excellent shock and coupled with the H&R sport will be a good compromise between stock feel and a sporty ride.
