How does KYB warrenty work?

How does KYB warrenty work?
I you buy the struts online, does KYB still warrenty them if they break? They have lifetime so Im curious cause a few ebay sites say lifetime warrenty.

it should still work just print of a receipt.. what i ****ed up on is the company only gives you ten days after purchase to send the warrenty.. and you usually get it about 10 says after ( bit less) and i forgot to send mine for the illumina's
