I'm planning on buying and installing a heat shield intake manifold gasket from hondata real soon....

Just wondering, has anybody else here installed one on their b16 or other b series engine?

If so, did you actually notice a gain in power/ fuel ecenomy?

its minimal gains that i have seen but it keeps the manifold a fair bit cooler

you can get an imitation gasket for half of the price of the hondata gasket. I am using a fakedata intake manifold gasket and can testify that it does in fact keep the IM a decent bit cooler than with the stock paper gasket.
I've used this on my car for well over a year and on a few friends cars with no problems.
I recommed this upgrade if your changing the intake manifold b/c you should use a new gasket anyways.
I can't however say how much power i gained b/c i put on an AEBS IM and 64mm throttle body at the same time.
