Hesitation Bogg?

Been driving my car round town lately keeping her warm on these cold days. And i notice when im just crusing on the trottle maybe 1/4 way depressed pedal. if i go to WOT straight away theres a VERY slight hesatation. I can feel it too crusing in 3rd gear at like 4000rpm when i go to give it gas it bogs very slightly. never used to do this it used to wheel hop and pull straight away.

Also if im parking lot driving in 2nd gear at 2000 rpms some times the car wil ljust bog out even if the throttle is depressed slightly.

Im thinking

- Time for Spark Plugs
- Maybe check the Dizzy
- PCV Dirty/Clogged

anyother areas of concern i should check out?

wouldn't hurt to do a tune-up (may not be the problem)

Personally I would pull the plugs to see if they are rich or lean and go from there.

merry christmas brother.

check your throttle cable/plate to see if it's sticking too. After sitting awhile that could very well be the problem.

ya could be a dizzy problem... but a tuneup is a cheaper place to start diagnosing.

Ok so i pulled the PCV Valve cleaned it up with some sensor cleaner and she started making that ticking noise. So its in good shape and was fairly clean. Changed the spark plugs and made sure they were properly gapped. Hesitation is now gone.

There still is this one problem. @ 3000rpm in 3rd gear if i totaly come off the throttle then very gently ease back on it to get going again it kinda jerks as the throttle is depressed then its fine after that. My throttle cable is TIGHT ultra sensitive just the way i like it. Im gonna start by getting a new dizzy which i hope will fix the prob. and secondly check the throttle cable.

CoreyR Care to share your precentages again? lol.

20% jerking is caused by over tightned throttle cable which would be VERY sensative. OR usually lightened flywheels and crank pullys can cause jerking usually only happens in first or second gear.

70% new dizzy will solve 99.9% of your problems.

10% Spark Plug Wires, maybe time for some brand new OEM.

50% of the time it works everytime....it smells like a turd with burnt hair.

Don't go randomly replacing parts bryce....steal pasani's dizzy and give that a try.

I dont want anything off of pasinis car thank you very much.

I have a lightened fly wheel. And a super toight like tiger throttle cable, i like it that way though.

Im running a b16 dizzy right now that i got used for 120 bucks, im pretty sure it has somthing to do with the throttle cable and the flywheel.

And im using OEM Wires and OEM Plugs.

andy.. you had an external coolant leak. Not an internal one that will burn coolant in your combustion chamber. Your plugs should not be white. You are either running lean as hell at one point in your map.. or you could have a possible headgasket problem.
