now im being told that the sway bar is too close to the firewall and it might rub. and bolts are diffrent

so wtf am i sopose to do??

are the people that are going to do this incompetent?

also im getting bad gas mileage on my car its a 1.8 ls motor with tranny i use to get 420k a tank no its 320k a tank.

there is 2 x o2 sensors i changed one of them (the one i the midpipe)
the other is not hooked up im told. i m using the ls computer but not the ls harness.
how bad will this effect me and my car?

why would you want the subframe? is yours broken? if the LS that you took the ecu from had O2 sensors and you have only hooked up one, its gonna be still looking for the other and while it does it'll be giving the engine lots of gas so it doesn't lean out (safe mode). hook up the other O2 it thats the case with the original car...

i also want the sway bar that comes with the subframe and the new bushings.

in order to hook up the other O2 sensor i would need to change the harness right?? or can it be done without changing the harness.

will having only one O2 sensor greatly effect my gas mileage??

why not just use a sway bar made for your car instead of one that isn't? I'm pretty sure that the 92~92 si's would have came with them...

You only need to hook up the other o2 if the ECU needs 2 O2 sensors. if the engine that the ECU came from had 2 O2 sensors, then you need to hook 2 O2 sensors up to it. If the ECU needs 2 O2 sensors and one is not connected, or even if they are both connected but not to the right pins (switched) then it'll affect your mileage for sure. its easy enough to add the wire if your harness doesn't have one...just get the connectors from the wreckers, find out what pin on the ECU that it needs to go to and run the wire...

ahh ok

since my car is a dx it doesnt have the holes for the sway bars.

now how badly would it effect my gas mileage 10k? 20k???

i didnt change the harness when i put in the new engine and ECu so i will run the wire for the o2 sensor.

thanks for the help
