help: muffler hitting on speedbump

My car was just dropped 2 days ago which means its gonna get even lower when the springs settle probably to about 2" in all. Would it help if i got 14" tires instead of 13"? I wanna a bit more clearance without making my car look too high. When they settle the tires will be pretty much even with the wheel well. What should i do? Get bigger tires or get some after market muffler with custom piping and make them tuck it in as much as possible (don't think that will help).

I think either bigger tires or bigger rims/ steelies will raise the car a bit. I think some will argue that this may not be true, I don't understand how, but let the opinions fly.

dude, the speedbumps in my complex are HUGE. There's no way you can get over them without hitting. I tried going through the whole complex last night (there's only 1 speedbump before my parking spot) and my whole car actually sat on one of them. It's brutal.

increasing the sidewall of the tire will raise it..
so will going to a 14" with the same sidewall (these both depend on width as well)

say you stayed on a 13..
had 185/65/13's
you could go 185/75/13 (roughly 1/2cm height gain, higher sidewall)

or 215/65/13 would also take you higher, tho minimally..

yer options are endless, especially if your considering 14 or even 15" rims..being on 13's now i'm assuming that you're not worried about the stock tire look??

yer probably better off tucking the pipes..i have to do the same sooner or later..

well...all i wanna know is if i got SiR wheels w/ the rubber they come with from honda, would it raise my car too much? right now I have a 1.5 finger gap or so on the 13's but the springs still have like 2 weeks til they settle and i dont want my car to look like its NOT lowered when i get 15's

sidewall might be too much (are these the 185/65/15's?), but best thing to do is try it out and see how they sit (rubbing etc)..
if they're the older 14" ones you'll probably be fine..

depending on how much clearance you have now, or after the springs settle will determine just about everything..
you're already running a pretty low profile tire, see what they sit like in two weeks..
if you have tons of space left you can look at either increasing to a 175/50/13 or 185/45/13, tho you'll have to watch the track cuz you go too wide and you'll be rubbing for sure..
or, if there's lots of room left maybe look at a 185/45/14...
this'll be a hard one to figure out until you know where yer gonna be once things are sitting as low as they're gonna end up..

what does slamming your car have to do with being a ricer?
My car is really low and I don't think its riced out.
