Help with Exhaust

Hey everyone,

I need to replace my exhaust on my car. Problem is the muffler and a bit of the mid pipe is rusted and starting to have holes in them. My car sounds super loud and it's annoying the hell outta me.

My problem is I don't know what I should replace my exhaust with. I don't even know where to begin. I haven't had my car long so I'm quite new to all this.

Oh yea my car is a 98 Civic SI.

Where do I begin, some one nudge me in the right direction.

i'm using an Apex'i Worldsport exhaust. full system, and i've had it for 3 years now. no rust at all and it's one of the quietest exhausts out there so it's perfect for me.

price is usually around 400-500bux CAD for a new one.

exhuast

If your worried about it being to loud just get an oem replacement, you can go to napa for that much cheaper then getting one from Honda.

Simple OEM or aftermarket OEM replacement, if you are not into modding your car.

Sorry Noob question. but when you say full system what are you referring too?

Like header, cat, midpipe and muffler?

I love this place, replies are so fast

But um yea I want to mod the exhaust but I don't want it loud. I bought the car used and it came with DC headers and a greddy muffler but that's all I know.

The exhaust is ridiculously loud but I'd like to change it to something quieter. Not OEM quiet though.. =D

The exhaust he is talking about would start at the end of the cat and back to the muffler. So Muffler and midpipe

If you want quiet but aftermarket id go with this^^

Used to run it on my civic...quiet but at WOT id has a nice tone to it.
