Headgasket for EF

Can someone kindly tell me where to buy a new headgasket for my EF? And how much does it usually go for?
I'm located in K-W and GTA

I checked partsource, they quote me ~$300
The car is 1990 Civic CX .

Thanks

I would like to edit my estimate

felpro oem style = $50 out the door
all metal style = $95 out the door

a complete head set is $255 out the door and that includes valve stem seals, head gasket, valve cover gasket w/grommets and spark plug seals, intake and exhaust manifold gaskets

and if you dont need the valve stem seals the head installation set goes for $185

Wow thanks for replies, its my first post.

Maybe you all can help me get this sorted out.

My car had a leaked cooling system, it ran on low coolant thus blown head gasket (my mechanic diagnosed it).

The labour to fix cost too much so i wanted to do it myself.

I went to partsourses, i said my head gasket blown and i need a replacement. A young clerk quoted me ~$300 something. I was shocked so i politely said thnks and left.

I dont know if honda still carry parts for EF. So what else do i need to replace while i'm at it? I have a manual, what tools do i need? I have some tools but i dont know if thats all.

Thnks for the warm, kind helps.

ps, i noticed many EFs hang out every week on Cawtra near Dundas in Mississauga. Is it a small meet of TCC for EFs?

Do i need a complete set for a blown headgasket due to coolant running low?

Which gasket do you recommend for stock engine? I'm thinking OEM from Honda.

Thanks

Yes sir i just bought one according to the manual. Anything else?

For the intake and exhaust manifold gaskets, how much do they run for? $100 for both?

So its $150 total with Felpro headgasket?

Cam seal? T-stat? Can you elaborate? I'm not that mechanic inclined ...yet

He didnt quote just to replace the headgasket but he would rebuild the engine and suggest other things. So he said its better just to do engine swap. He said for $2000 he can swap a JDM engine in there.

I dont have much cash so i would just replace headgasket. I'm a student so i'm sort on cash.

Let me tell you, if you havent done one before and your not mechanically inclined , dont do the job yourself. You have to be knowledgable on things such as valve timing, proper installation. Its not a job for the basic amature....
