I am under the assumption that I could use a d series header for an Si but i would have to get a after market Hi flow cat because the stock header has the cat connected. I just want to make sure that where the flanges connect would be the same set up ?

I think the cat for the cars with a d16y8 would then bolt up. most headers and high flow cats keep the stock flange design so that you can just bolt them up and go

I believe Kamikaze makes one for the d16y7.

If you go for the EX header, cat and exhaust, you would also have to extend the o2 sensor.

Edit:
Yup, they do have an application:

Ask Leitner about Kamikaze... he carries Endyn products and Endyn carries Kamikaze. Like I said, DC is the preferred choice for affordability and performance, Kamikaze a close second!

if you go with a headder, you loose your cat period...

so if you want a cat you have to buy an aftermarket one, or any civic non y7 OEM cat... And you will have to get a whole new SI catback exhaust, or have a shop cut your midpipe shorter plus weld in a flange to fit the cat in.. And you have to extend your 02 wires.
