H22 is an entirely different beast, and must be treated as such... it's not made to rev very high, that's why they have the torque, so you don't have to rev them.

yeah i've never been over 7K with my h22. Redline STARTS at 7400.

It's can be hard to manage though, once you hit 5.5K it just flys up to redline..

?? All I said is that its been a problem engine... I run my d16y fairly hard 186,000km (plus nitrous) and it runs clean as a whistle... My buddy has almost 50,000km on his h series and its nothing but problems... And he treats it with as much care as any other car knowledgable person

and yes i realize they are different engines...
