I want to get a dual exhaust civic and I thought this would make amazing mufflers for the task...

Give me some feedback plz.
Dual exhausts are more for V-style motors, not inline-4 cylinders like the ones we have. I doubt you'll gain anything, you might even lose power cuz of the added weight

Thanks jacsha for replying... you can expect my money order in 1-2 weeks.

folks, if you have any questions not related to this GB please contact jacsha seperatley through PM or email... check jacsha's profile for the address. Thanks.

Ok.. scratch that.. Would I gain performance on my car if I put this on over the stock one? heh.

Like most mufflers any gains would be more psychological than anything else ...i have spoken to some who have the geniune MTL and they've noticed a very slight increase in low end torque, take that for what you will... I'm buying this because it is a high quality, full stainlass steel exhaust. It looks good, has a subtle tip, and is quiet unlike most performance mufflers out there.

nighthawk rider: The 9 inches tip is design for a Honda don't exist in N. America, you have to cut the bending end, modify the mounting location and install it as a universal muffler. The price for that one is $349. You can send me a total of $379 shipped via express post. I just want to take you as a private deal.

Isn't the resonator on your mid-pipe? Getting the MTL universal isn't going to effect that in anyway.. you don't need a new resonator. unless there is something on the 7th gen exhausts i don't know about.

btw, i have my money order in hand and will be mailing it out tomorrow (Monday) can't wait!

Jugglez: the reason why i am asking is that if i get the MTL universal muffler, i will get stainless steel 2.25 custom mid pipe and i want to know if it is a good idea to use the stock resonator or get the aftermarket one (bigger than stock size)?

Will the stock one even fit the bigger piping? If it doens't you really have no choice

UPDATE!

4 people confirmed (inlcuding) myself have sent out their money orders. Please reply once you do so... remember once the 1st 5 payments are received the units will be shipped out... then after that it is 1st come 1st served up until the deadline of October 7th (based on availablity of course). Don't miss out!

There's no deadline for this GB, soon as we get 5 people we're good to go... but if we can get 10 it's $20 cheaper for each type.

do we have 10 buyers as of now?

as of now only 4 people have actually sent out a money order...

don't hold your breath on 10 buyers, doesn't look like that's going to happen.

The mail itself will take about 5 days to reach Vancouver,
the order will take about 7 days to be shipped to Toronto.
