There is always one cool down lap, I dont race the car I just do a few track days here and there during the summer. I just go around the track off the gas but going slower then pull off into the pits then wait for the next session. By the way there is a long track day at shannonville aug 9 i think for like 100$$ good deal. Long track is so much fun. I tend to carry over the driving style day to day. I really enjoy driving as sport so I guess thats why. Someone told me that I should use an opposed caliper, good idea?? Ultimatly, I am going to change the rotors, and braded brake lines, the fluid is not boiling, and I change it every oil change. It is good.
