I want my exhaust to sit about an inch higher, anyone know where i can pick up some of those rubber muffler holders that the hangers fit into.
Im looking for ones an inch or two shorter than oem.

The OEM rubber piece is only about an inch or so long, if you go shorter on that, you might as well tie the hangers together.

Or go to a muffler shop, have them chop an inch off the 2 hangers on the muffer and reweld, very quick job, shouldn't cost a lot.

I have used the metal rings that tighten by screw driver, it seems sturdy plus i left the rubber hangars on for insurance.

Think the steel hangars will hold?

i would fore see there being a problem.....i would just keep an eye on them for the next little while thought just to make sure.
