no, they dont' last a lifetime...

clutchs are just like brakes, doesin't matter how hard or easy you use them, they eventually wear out

mine had 230K and it still had around 40-50 meat left. It depends on the driver

Increase acceleration and how fast your RPMS climb... downside, RPMS and drop quick and if your flywheel is too light it can make it troublesome to shift properly.

Got another question, the clutch I want to buy from this guy doesn't come with release bearing, pilot bearing/bushing and alignment tool. How much would these additional parts cost? and do they have to come from the original clutch manufacturer or can you buy them aftermarket? Will my mechanic have a problem installing it without the proper alignment tool?

Release bearing is around $30 or so and $15 or $20 for pilot. Clutch alignment tool isnt needed, i can line it up jus as good with my fingers. Aftermarket bearings should be fine. Jus watch out for shipping tho

Thanks man, you've been of great help! Shipping shouldn't be a concern if I am buying it from a local shop though. Do I have to ask for a specific Release/Pilot Bearing? Does it go by make of car, etc?

not true, kevlar clutches should last forever. When the surface gets messed up you just have to get it sand/bead blasted and its good as new.

Install time depends on the person, some car do it in under 2 hours and for others it might take a whole day.

the lighter the flywheel the more shock that is put into the tranny and engine. I would get a 10-12lb oem lightened flywheel.
