Since your doing this, you wouldn't mind writing up a step by step process for replacing these bushings would ya? I have to replace one on my car and I am really lost as to what the best way to do it is.

Yo - MAP gas rulez! It's even more potent when combined with oxygen! I use the cheap bernzomatic set up for all my brazing needs..

Pity about the GSR bushings.....you know - just plain damn luck...

i know... this stupid sway bar costs more everytime i go play with it...

i was gonna buy the map/oxy welding thing they had at the depot... it retailed for like $68 i think... it'd be alright... it was weird using hte mapgas though cause i'm used to oxy-acetylene... which just melts everything... but it was fun times... i wanted to make some movies of stuff getting melted by the map but figured A) it would make a mess, B) i can't host them anywhere

I hear ya Rick, whenever you start improvising with non standard parts - you're bound to spend $$$ that you didn't realize..

I have that $68 set up, was really handy when I had to cut off stuff at the wreckers...

ya no kidding... i would love to buy that oxy-acetylene thing they had there but $499 i'm trying to convince my dad we "need" a real oxy fuel set up though... only like $170 a year to rent cylinders with one free fill on acetylene and oxygen... add another $100 for hoses and accessories

or if my dads work every buys a new tig machine i get the old one.. mmmmm the only real problem with it is it wont run high amperage anymore... but it'll still 150 amps which is more then enough for me... maybe i could try to weld some pops cans together again with it... since i can take a pic of it now
