To clarify, this is the installed price - DRIVE IN DRIVE OUT.

This also includes everything you will need with NO HIDDEN cost. Sure im if you call around over the phone you will get a cheaper price if you ask for a "b16 installed"...buts lets compare apples to apples...this is not just the price of the motor thrown in the car...

- NEW axels (not used)
- Timing Belt and Water Pump Provided and Installed (OEM Honda)
- All new fluids
- New mount (not used)
- All labour
- Chipped ECU (upgraded chip free by request)
- Conversion harness
- Warranty!

Whoever said all of that is not worth $4300.. must be wrong. If I was ever to get a swap I would def. go to Eric at Teknotik.. he's probably one of the few shops that are honest and try to help you out as much as they can. Atleast you know you're getting an engine in good shape.

Exactly. Look on this site and see how many people are complaining about something wrong with their swap because they Cheaped out and try to get it done by not spending too much money. In the end, they probably end up spending more just to fix the problem from the initial swap.

Like I said before, if you are going to do it, get it done right the first time.

I think the price is a good price for sure, for those who are not mechanically inclined... people are going based on them installing swaps etc... but i must warn you, after getting a b16 and driving it around, u will realize u want more...
Look at Cost
Chipped ECU with program your looking alone 200+
Install... say $500ish
Harness $100
New axels $100
Warranty + Labour From A very Repuable shop.. PRICELESS :P

so plan for what you want to do to your car in the near future, do you want to boost? B18B.. but N/A and you plan to mod it, u might want to start with a base of a 1.8Litre

If I were you I would look into getting a GSR or a USDM type R motor. You will grow tired of the performance that any B16 will give you chipped or not. If you search you can find em for around 4g's with tranny.

You guys gotta also remember he said he's getting a lsd tranny with it. I got qouted 3200 for the b16a but i would have to get my fluids, water pump and belt and get a clutch plus its not a lsd tranny so in the end Teknotiks have a awsome deal. Im looking forward to purchasing my engine from them in the near future really soon cause my head gasket is going or its gone i think already.
