Help. I need to replace my front LCA bushings (the ones where the front shocks mount to) see pic

I was told by Honda that I can't just buy the EK LCA bushings. I have to buy the whole arm. Is this true? As you can see from the pics, eg have part #7 & #12 for the bushings compared to EK.

I need to replace the bushings because it is throwing off my alignment on the car. I'm looking for the most cost effective way to approach this. Please advise.

Twinbros, I got EK front DRIVERSIDE LCA for only 20 bucks (from a 2000 DX)! Grab it if you like!

Also, 2000 SiR front LCA bushines (Part #7) for 10 bucks (pair) as a back up set.

Matt and I replaced the bushings but it was a lot of work - burning, pushing, hammering and whatnot (if you want to DIY). I say you take mine and call it a day.

sir lower control arms are totally different, not sure if the busings fit but they are alot bigger

werd... the forks and SiR LCAs are a lot wider than the cast steel LCAs. I went through this when I swapped to the complete SiR susp.

I have heard of them... what do you plan to get from them? It's the same level of engineering as like... APC and Ractive. I guess you were looking at the rear LCAs? :-|

ya.. they were rears for $75 and the omnipower were $90.... the silver ones i want to get.... so front and rear LCAs are nothing alike??

Front and rear look totally different. Front looks like a triangle, the rear is just a straight piece.

well according to that diagram in the 1st post it looks like a rear... except for the v-shaped piece bolted to it
