well most ppl know what I'm running. I had the car at the HT meet so those who went saw the car.

those are 440cc and the intercooler is tiny it was chosen for most airflow, and lowest pressure drop. basically, you see the entire intercooler through the grille, so every portion of the intercooler is doing it's job. there is no intercooler under the bumper cover. it's only 6 inches tall I think, and about 30 inches long. I think the thickness is 2.75 if I remember.

and I no longer have those yellow bulbs in the headlights

oh, I see...well, mine's shorter than yours I guess...it's only about 2 feet wide and 1 foot tall. 440 injectors??? is that set up working for you? I used to use those but got 550 injector and noticed a big performance difference but had to change the FPR and Fuel pump because I was starving the motor at full throttle. It looks nice non the less tho.

I've got Hella 3500K H.I.D.s....you should get a set of those.

brace what?? the intake IMO should be braced to the engine if it's a short ram, if it's CAI it should be braced to the chassis with plenty of flex.

The one you see in my pic use to be a true CAI, then I shorten it because the filter got so dirty, it was disgusting, I still have it. But I like the way it is now, not as noisy either.

That's what I was getting at. Engines move when you hit the gas, so naturally the intake should be able to move with it. So, brace it to the engine. Just find a screw that's convenient and attach it.

No brace, my intake has very little movement, but my older one did move a lot.

imo the one double d has looks grosss..no offence .. .not too mention it makes teh engine bay look sluttered and weird.. that aftermarket one fits tightly cause its angled a bit for clearence, the OEM sir one will not fit unless u have an SI manifold... it is not angled and yes bbarbulo is right.. you will have to drill holes... but if u look under the hood the holes are like etched in already so that wouldnt be a problem , so unless ur gonna go buy a y8 intake manifold then the stut bar is pointless... please dont go aftermarket... i know you did it with your front and rear lips and i hate u for that but please dont do it with the strut.. leave it or SWAP it ...your car is cllllllllllllllleannnnnnn.. dont put that junk on there

so drilling the extra holes on each side is the only method to go?
