d16z6 problems

ok so i'm having some problems if you read my post in chit chat about my "blown motor" you will know that i had a swap done and tranny dipstick was the main problem anyways....so swap is done and all but i'm having problems......the car when idioling is reving up and down from 1 - 2 grand when at an idiol, i switched out the idiol air control and still does the same thing, used oxgen to look for intake leaks but chouldn't find anything...HELP haha also i'm hearing crazy noises in what i think is the tranny sounds like little bits of metal being shookn up when i start to rev higher...thanks for anyhelp

yes to drop the tranny is a few hours... to put it back is a few hours..

to disassemble and re-assemble wouldn't be something I'd ever try

vacuum leak ckeck all your hoses coming off your intake manifold, as for tranny you will need a big *** socket and bar to break those axle bolts oh and save yoruself trouble and unstake them. your car will need to be high so you have enough room to pull the tranny out from under. NOt to bad but unless you have experience I'd stay away and let a mechanic do it. It onlly flunctuates at idle cause that's the only time it pulls a vacuum cause the throttle plate is closed.
