ok i bought a new tranny..........not installed yet but still having problems with the reving up and down, but i have noticed lately that its off and on....it wont do it when i first start driving the car, then it will do it, then it wont for a few times then back again so weird only does it at an idiol or when in park

vacuum leak ckeck all your hoses coming off your intake manifold, as for tranny you will need a big *** socket and bar to break those axle bolts oh and save yoruself trouble and unstake them. your car will need to be high so you have enough room to pull the tranny out from under. NOt to bad but unless you have experience I'd stay away and let a mechanic do it. It onlly flunctuates at idle cause that's the only time it pulls a vacuum cause the throttle plate is closed.

yea me and my friend did my motor and he is a mechanic so we should be all good with the tranny.........if its a leak wouldnt it be doing it all the time at an idiol tho?? we checked them some what chouldnt find anything tho.....also i dont have the right distributor hooked up to this motor but it does work played with the timing and still doing it...maybe i need right distributor? plug wires worn out?
ps getting distributor asap anyways
