CV Joints - Quality

What is better? A rebuilt CV joint or one that is from a wreckers that is out of another car? Im told that rebuilt suck, but im also told that a wreckers one would suck.. !! I dont have the money to buy new..

rebuilt is better... used ones are so unknown.... but buy from CT or Carquest or NAPA cuz they get 'um from high volume rebuilders.

yep, at least with rebuilds you know whatever was wrong with them was fixed, unlike ones from a scrapper, could last you 1000 km then break, or last you 200,000 its a bigger risk.

Im cheap!! lol, thats why.. but if my joint completly fails, then I have no way of getting to school which is costing like 80$ per day.. even more of a waste.
