Ctr Ecu & Itr Ecu

no not really. The CTR will have a little more aggressive fuel/timing maps but nothing detrimental.
You could always get an obd2-obd1 conversion harness and run a chipped p28. This is what i would do, but obd1 is where its at in terms of tuneability, in my opinion at least.

so...i should follow the root that Eric in Teknotik suggested me to do?
which is get an ECU from 92-95 civic and let them chip it...
either vtec ECU or non-vtec are fine
as long as its 5 speed ECU
zeeman, do you recommand this root as well?

yes, yes i do. Its a good idea especially if you ever plan on modding your engine to the point where it requires tuning (like upping the compression of different cams or turbo) b/c you will be ready to go, just make sure he uses a low-profile ZIF socket.

yeah that will work. That would be a p05 or p06 so that can easily be modded to run vtec, converted to 5spd and chipped. Have the guys at teknotik just burn the just stock ITR program.
