Crower Stage 3 Camshafts

I'm thinking of buying this Stage 3 Crower kit but was just wondering if it is a good idea. How rough will my idle be? Tolerable? Do I need Hondata to tune preoperly?
It is going in a B18C R motor.

you will definately need a higher than stock compression ratio to run these cams with good results. You will also need the apropriate valve springs/retainers to run high lift cams like this (anything other than a stage 1 really requires upgraded valvetrain). You don't need to waste your money on hondata when you can get someone to make you a custom chip with crome for half the cost. Idle characteristics might not be what you would want, but definately streetable.
I wouldn't run anything less than 11.5-12:1 static CR with these cams....especially in a 1.8L

i guess you are saying you own a jdm c-r. if so, your c.r. is high enough for those cams. not ideal, but good enough. with the Crower 3's, you'll have no idle problems at all. listen to Z. valvetrain is a neccesity for anything above stage 1 as mentioned. if you want the most out of these cams without bumpin your c.r a bit, you'll have to put together a very good set-up. your number one ingredient for success is a good header.

first off, pretty much every fast all motor drag Honda in the US uses Crower cores. secondly, the core problem Crower had was about 5 years ago. thirdly, all of Rocket Motorsports camshafts are Crower cores. lastly, i've seen Jun 3's break. its all relative. most times cams break due to poor, careless install work.
