Confused (Engine Problem)

Hey guys :)

I'm having a little problem with my engine. This happens more in First gear then the other Four. This also happens when I’m accelerating slowly, but it doesn’t happen when you have it to the floor. The car goes, but it seems like there is something holding it back, kind of bogging a little bit, but then one it gains some rpm then its fine. I'm thinking it's the O2 Sensor, but I'm not to sure.

D16Z6 with about 240,000 KM's I changed the cap, plugs, wires about 7 months ago...hmm...It has a brand new rad 2.5 Inch Custom Exhaust with a Resonator. I don’t' have a high flow cat, short shifter, I change the oil every 4,000 KM's...Oh ya I also tryed a couple of bottles of fuel injector cleaner??? one more thing, I just use regular gas, but that shouldn't matter :shrugs:

Any more info, just ask

Please and thank you :D

damn...nothing? :notfair:

just a guess.. it could be early signs of the cat going.. if you start to hear rattling then thats it.. and bogging down really bad once that happens..

Try cleaning your throttle body and air filtre

i had that happen to me before too...i was also running a 2.5inch exhaust...turns out i kept blowing resonators (not the cat)
but what RDub99 said is possible, but not the first thing i would check

Its actually happening on my car a little bit too. I'm gonna check the fuel filter and then the throttle body.

check the Timing that's what it was on my car.

I dont' know if that's the problem, but I do know that I have to change that :nods:

You have to change the timing? I am pretty sure he meant the ignition timing where as you are referring to the timing belt.
Wouldn't hurt the check the valve timing and ignition timing.
