bbarbulo 09-Sep-2003 12:43 PM

Buddah owns a primo shop... Altech is a great place too I hear.

imported_cbishun 09-Sep-2003 12:53 PM

do u know how much it would cost roughly?

bbarbulo 09-Sep-2003 12:58 PM

dunno, only Buddah could tell you... expect in the $300+/- range for labour alone.

imported_cbishun 10-Sep-2003 02:05 PM

cbishun,

I may be able to do. I gotta check my weekend schedule..

It's like a 2 hours job or less.

Either you buy the clutch or I can get it wholesale cost. Depends what you want.. Either OEM or aftermarket..

Aftermarket I can prolly get for about $220 Taxes included.
$175 to install.

Only thing i can't do is machine the flywheel, we can still clean it up and it should be fine. Never had a prob with that.

imported_cbishun 10-Sep-2003 02:42 PM

It's not for me it's for my friend, I'll let you know as soon as I speak with him

imported_Cablerat 10-Sep-2003 03:02 PM

no worries, I'll see if i got time for it.

punkindrublic 10-Sep-2003 03:03 PM

when i did a tranny swap and consequent clutch change i didn't machine the flywheel either and no problems

Blue Dream 10-Sep-2003 05:44 PM

your flywheel should have been re-surfaced, it makes the mating surfaces of the clutch disc and the flywheel smooth so It doesnt prematurely burn the material off on the clutch disc.

imported_gatherer 10-Sep-2003 05:52 PM

gatherer does not give out peoples numbers without permission (although other people will make random calls from my cell for kicks every so often....)

its usefull but not nessessary.... you only "need" to do it if the previous clutch wore down the rivets and started eating away at the flywheel
