clutch change

hey just wondeing if anyone knows where I can get a clutch changed for a 1991 Acura Integra? How much am I looking at?

dunno, only Buddah could tell you... expect in the $300+/- range for labour alone.

I may be able to do. I gotta check my weekend schedule..

It's like a 2 hours job or less.

Either you buy the clutch or I can get it wholesale cost. Depends what you want.. Either OEM or aftermarket..

Aftermarket I can prolly get for about $220 Taxes included.
$175 to install.

Only thing i can't do is machine the flywheel, we can still clean it up and it should be fine. Never had a prob with that.

when i did a tranny swap and consequent clutch change i didn't machine the flywheel either and no problems

your flywheel should have been re-surfaced, it makes the mating surfaces of the clutch disc and the flywheel smooth so It doesnt prematurely burn the material off on the clutch disc.

gatherer does not give out peoples numbers without permission (although other people will make random calls from my cell for kicks every so often....)

its usefull but not nessessary.... you only "need" to do it if the previous clutch wore down the rivets and started eating away at the flywheel
