Cleaning air filter

Hey dudes... I know this might sound like a bonehead question but...

I have an AEM intake and an AEM filter...
do you think it's ok to use the K&N oil and wash (recharger kit) on an AEM filter? Or does it have to be an AEM recharger kit?

no it's not ... I tried it (even followed the directions) but it's not the same as a K and N filter my filter was super clogged after I tried ... buy a real K and N air filer for your intake then try the K and N cleaner next time....
