Ti is the best exhaust system out there, I have had about ten different ti systems and never a failure. I guess that also depends on the ppl makinig it. For 850 usd its probably a pile of crap. Good exhuasts are more than that if they are ti

Ti hasn't been around for that long, so I doubt you have enough experience with them to see them crack, but in the long term, you will see failure at the stress points, like flanges and hangers. On the other hand, it is sickly light... so perhaps that lowers the amount of stress on it

titanium isn't brittle 
it depends how pure it is and the mixture... if properly heat treated though it can have a tensile strength of up to 180K which is that of steel... it has excellent heat and corrosion characteristics... i'm not sure how true it is but i heard you need an argon chamber to weld it too the brittleness people see in the material is when it is welding conventionally
