cat-back & suspension OPTION
#2
for type r on type s for stock looking with performance gains.
Rs-r also makes some nice subtle exhausts.
for suspension your going to have to give a litle more info.
how much you want to spend, how low you want to go, how firm/stiff a ride you want, is it being lowered for looks or is the suspension setup goign to be put to use. etc.
these questions your asking are way to general.

thanks man and I prefer brand new muffler so I think I will go for rsr so do they make catback? And are they very quiet? Anyone has experience of it?
For coilover I think I want something like good on the street ride because I drive it everyday....and willing to spend around $1500 cdn...hope it last long

something good on the street for ride, you don't want coilovers then, you want spring and shock combination. Coilovers have rates of 10K or 8K usually which is 560lb (10K) and 450lb (8K) which is quite stiff. Sounds like you want H&R Sport springs with KYB AGX or Tokico Illumina. Softer ride but still an improvement in handling and lowers 1.75" front, 1.5" rear

Here's your three aftermarket performance exhausts to look at:
RS*R EX Mag
GREDDY Street Performance 2
APEX'i World Sport 2
Those three are all nice looking, non farty, and well made.
As for the suspension, I've had H&R Sport springs with KYB AGX shocks and I've had Omni Power Street Coilovers. To be honest, there isn't much of a difference in the actual ride quality. Maybe if I set the AGX to the softest setting it would be a bit nicer, but the Omni Coilers were still pretty good.
You have to consider that any aftermarket sport suspension combined with a lower profile tire will result in a BIG change in the feel of the road...You can pretty much feel every crack.
With your budget, I would look at Tein coilover products. Or get KONI Yellow Shocks and a sport spring suitable for your needs.

Set them to the softest for a day and then to the hardest for a day and just keep playing with the setup until you see what you like.

i have h&r race and kyb agx.. a little steep of a drop for kybs, but ont he softest setting its a pretty sweet ride even when i am 2.5" loweredeven a bit more in the front with my b18c in there... if you want, get your bumpstops trimmed on the shocks u install to give it a little more travel and you wont bottom out as much...
but, if i put the kyb agx to the stiffest, its nice, but they still don't go stiff enough for me... i think its the springs though, cause i had springs with like a 1.5" drop before apex or something and when the suspension was on hard i could toss the car around like a go kart, but now its a little more forgiving... better for the ride quality IMO... but, h&r sport are nice riding springs....
suspension............... number1 rule... don't cheap out... i have gone through 2 previous suspension set-ups, not including stock and i have finally found something tolerable.. other than full coilovers, i think i am pretty much satisfied...
