Cutting a hole is no biggie, it comes like that from the factory if you have an Si or SiR.... so what...just dig in It's only a car.

I cant go to meets...
got classes on tuesday to thurs. nights...
and.. it's too far for me... I'm live downtown.. near CNE....

well.. I dont really see a sheet of metal blocking it...
it's actually the chasis metal... well.. I think tat's part of the chasis...
but it's some hard metal..
anywayz... I just leave it as it is... it should be fine...

Joker: no cutting is required for a SRI if you have an EX/DX/LX
just pop it in and you're good.
I'm too lazy to cut that piece out so I'm just running a SRI

hope this helps.
You have to remove the bottom peice of that air box.
I just remembered how !!!
theres a bracket that holds it to the throttle body just lossen the 10mm that holds it in place and firmly but carfully pull the rest of the air box out.
