Brembo?

Hi,

I was checking out NOPI.com for parts for my car.

I came across a set of Brembo Front rotos for $30US ish each.

Are Brembo rotors any good? I've never really heard of them before.

I don't want cheapo rotors.

honestly I can't tell the difference from OEM. I did use race pads on the Brembos, and they took the punishment I laid out, but I'm wondering if any no name brand could have done the same. If you are talking bigger rotors/stronger calipers/steel braided lines? then yes Brembo's are good.

For your SiR. I'd suggest getting OEM if your car is not modified. or OEM equivalents. IF the brembos are cheaper, then go for it bud!

Many people on here use Brembo blank rotors. Good bang for the buck seems to be the consensus.

I just have stock setup for my brakes. Not really planning to upgrade them.

I did some research and I find ppl like the cross-drill / sloted rotors.

I wish knew about this about three weeks ago before I bought new rear rotors from NAPA ($200). I think I would've rather had sloted ones.

they warped just as easy (brembo blanks) as stock rotors for me if not faster. May be an extreme case, but i dont recommend them.
