i thknk ya mama's bedroom was!

now back on topic...

turbo are pretty simple when you look at it...an di know how much these installs can end up running you...so let me just say that there is money to be saved and i am not rich thus i think mounting and setting up everything is a great way to save a few bucks...but tunning...well i havn't been able to convince santa to bring me a dyno yet so i usally have to pay for my tread mill time too..

If you install a turbo by yourself, the only other help you'll need is having someone weld the oil return bung onto the oil pan. I love leave tuning to someone that knows what they're doing.

i was thinking of doing it myself. but then i thought theres
alot to lose if i screw up(a newly rebuilt engine) plus with the greddy turbo on the zc theres going to be some charge pipe mods and im not sure im up to doing the electical stuff(install of the j&s safeguard, boost controller and turbo timer),though i did think ahead and had the engine rebuilder weld the fitting on the oil pan, i had visions of the turbo installer drilling the oil pan with it still on the car, but thanks for everyone opinion and advice

Anyway, this probably won't work out for you because it's in London, but RPP motorsports installed the turbo on my car. He's an infamous Porshe mechanic, translation - really good with turbo stuff. He so did all the work for Steve Wilcox's car which has won't quite a few awards in the Canadian and US import circle. Wilcox had a greddy kit installed. He also works on 6 other very nice cars in the club: S4, MX-6 with a J-spec v6 swapped in, 6th gen sedan with b16 swapped in, Supercharged GSR, Turbocharged Si, Supercharged Si.

Anyway, to check out picks of my install:

Well, it appears as if Renato has learned a thing or two about imports in the last few years. My car was probably one of his first swaps. It took him 12 weeks to complete and it subsequently blew up 17000 miles later... my 0.02
