The best motor??
i need help..wanna do a swap but first i want to know which motor will be the best one for EK..96 civic...the best engine?? performance wise and maintance wise..thanks for the inputs.

96civicexsedan, you're making the same mistake I made here a while back. You're question is too broad. Everyone here who can answer your question will now ask, What are you going to do with the car? How much you want to spend? What are your driving habits like, and on and on and on. Your first step is to use the search function in this forum. Alot of guys here know their sh*t, but you need to have a basic idea of your goals. Check past threads, call shops like RT Motorsports or anyone else on the affiliates page. I got flamed for asking the same broad question when I first started thinking about my swap, AND I DESERVED IT.
Research, research and research. Then come back here and these guys are great about helping out with the fine points.

K series is too much money to spend on a 9 year old car. Motor rotates differently, needs custom axles, mounts, engine harness. Go GSR (B18) w/lsd or H22. Costs one hell of a lot less, and less downtime.
