What would you estimate the cost to buy everything without labour?
If you get turbo you cant use header or a CAI

as long as you have an OBD2 head I think it should be fine...(but don't quote me)

So if I get the block then all I need is a vtec head? and then I can look into internals.

Is getting the engine cryogenically frozen worth it? I have seen it done on many programs and it says it makes the parts last alot longer. Would it be easy to get 200 wheel hp from a turbo setup or should I still keep the idea of nos?

Sounds to me like you need more research on ls/vtec. Its not a swap where you can just stick a block onto a head, its a risky motor unless done properly, and thats gonna take $$$$

Yeah I have heard that the ls/vtec engine wasnt really reliable which is one of the key things for me.

Its not reliable because people don't take care and don't do it properly. I know people running ls/vtec daily driven that have close to if not more then 200 WHP, its all in the way you drive it, maintain it, and build it.

If you want something easier with the same amount of power try an H22.

But with an H22 dont you have to remove power steering and some other components? If I get the LS/Vtec done I will get it done at leitner or altech which are some reputable shops. I definitely wont be rushing into anything. Im gonna be taking my time getting the $$ and researching each individual part to get the best and most reliable parts.
