i'm looking into getting a new swap done on my 1990 civic hb si. Right now it has a dohc zc in it with 80,000 on it with si tranny with brand new clutch. I want to get the b16a1 in there for some extra power and there easier to build on. Just want to know how much it would be 2 takeout the zc and drop in the b16a1 (full complete swap ), would give the engine away 2 if it would save me $$.

why not boost the zc if you want more power? that way when you blow it up you have an excuse to go to a b16 and with a few modifications you already have a turbo setup to go on it!
