b16a compression specs?

b16a compression specs?

I just went to see a car w/b16a. I need to know what the compression should be at so i can do a test and find out how bad the motor has been beat.....Thanks...

I think he's referring to compression test results in terms of psi per cylinder. It should be 200 or a little over.. even more if it's a JDM motor... look for consistency.

So you say for a JDM b16a1 the compression should be over 200 psi???? That is if it is new right??? When doing a swap and getting a motor that has about 40000 to 50000km what should the compression be around for a good motor??? And what is the lowest you would go with the compression before you considered the motor garbage???
