I am pretty sure you can get better results with a tuned ECU as long as the person knows what they are doing. I have heard great things on here about Zeeman. It seems for the price of the apexi unit you cold get a nice tune on your ecu.

we tell us not to waste space.. but this thread could be answered with a simple search.
What this thing does is it allows you to adjust your ignition timing and fuel maps. Simply put.
There are way better options out there and I think hack's are an un-educated persons purchase.

Also, if you lower the vtec engagement point from say 5500 to 4500rpms (trying to make the car faster, which it won't) the ecu won't switch over to the vtec fuel/ignition maps until 5500rpms, so at 4500rpms when vtec engages you'll still be running off the non-vtec fuel/ignition maps. The same thing happens if you are setting the vtec higher than what its set to on the ecu. So if you have a chip with the vtec engagement at 5000rpms and you set it to 5800rpms with the vafc, from 5000-5800rpms you will be running off the vtec fuel/ignition maps (b/c the ecu will be switching over at 5000rpms where the vtec engagement is set to) but in actuality the engine will be running off the primary/secondary lobes (non-vtec lobes).
Like someone else mentioned, for the price of a vafc you can get a custom program made in crome (street tune).
