Do you have them under warranty? Maybe tein replaces blown shocks, as long as it wasn't your fault.

JRP was the only one in Ontario listed as a dealer on TEIN's website. They didn't disclose distributors.

JRP 2344 S.Sheridan Way Mississauga ON L5J 2M4 905-822-7223 905-822-5508 www.*********.com

That's where I'd start, or call them directly. And if 100 + shipping is all it costs to get it repaired it's probably worth it.

Im pretty sure they can be rebuilt Jay

Send off an email to Tein, I think its $100 US for

complete overhaul of one shock (clean up, inspection, replacement of all seals, change damper oil and setting the shock to original settings).

damn, how'd you blow one? my friend installed a set on his prelude recently and they seem to be really high quality (cost a lot too!). i'm sure you can warranty those if you have receipts for it.

well you see they came with the project car i bought.
and i took the suspension out and had them checked out and when i push down on it they all seem to go down a bit with some effort but one of them is doing it a bit more.

could that mean it is blown?

i looked around and there is no visible oil leaks just dirt.
and they are being stored inside my basement which is ice cold could that be a reason aswell? maybe they get better once they warm up a little???

dood man, if that ONE shock is going down slower than the rest of them, it's probably because the settings are firmer (clockwise on the silver **** at the top) than the other 3. crank them all counter clockwise till you hit the end (16 clicks approx?) and then push down on it.

if it was blown, you'd probably have oil leaking somewhere and it would push down with almost no effort at all... good luck!
