ACT 2100 or 2600

i'm buying a new clutch and pressure plate for my 2002 dx civic coupe and i'm trying to choose which one of these best suits my needs.
The price difference is negligable..i'm not worried about the cost of them so dont consider that...just which one will be better for me.
Basically its between the HDSS and the XTSS.
I'll need it to be able to handle my mods....

HP full race header
custom 2.25" exhaust
Cold Air Intake
DH Racing crank pulley (thing weighs 6oz. and provides amazing gains..eliminates PS and AC.)
75 shot NX wet kit with purge and warmer
also plugs to work with the nitrous.
...i'll be running on stock 14" steelies with falken azenis sports

this is my daily driver and gets about 15000km a year. I'll probably be at the tracks 3 or so times a month probably running all motor for 80% of the passes and then the rest on a 75 shot. I dont want something thats gunna ruin my engine or something thats CRAZY to drive on the street. i am willing to sacrifice a lil driving quality for performance as you can tell by my willingness to eliminate my powersteering.
I'd appreciate any advice
Thanks

the 2600 is abit over kill..I mean 300-400 hp awd dsm's use them so...I'd say the 2100 is more than enough..the 2600 has retarded pedel pressure your one leg will be bigger than the other after using it, you will probobly start breakign things to with that heavy of a clucth. 2100 is what you want with a street disc

so the XTSS will cause problems with my car?? not too worried about pedal effort...or price, just whether or not it'll reck something.

lordm- i'm getting a hook up already....the 2600(XTSS) for $510 canadian taxes included or the 2100(HDSS) for $440 canadian taxes in.:working:

understand that your clutch assembly pushes back against your engine internals... namely the thrust bearing. too much load will result in crank walk and you can just call it a Talon hahaha

The stronger the clutch, the harder it's pushing up on your crank... get the lightest clutch that will hold your proposed power levels. If you are shooting for 200 hp, get a clutch that can do 200-250. NOT something that is built for 300-400 hp forced induction.

anyways, most ppl fail to understand that Honda engines last forever because they are well built, and they are low stress.... you start stressing an engine more and more, the laws of physics are still there... it will fail. not even Honda can defy the laws of physics

personally, I'd invest in a Quaife before I invested in a clutch. (well, I'd do them together) but the bottom line is, no matter how hard your clutch engages, how much power you are making... if that one wheel starts to spin, you've just fuct yourself. The $10,000 motor and the $1000 clutch can't do **** when your open diff is smoking your $300 rubber

true enough.....cant afford one right now though. so i'll have to do my best to keep traction.

i'm hoping to dyno in at 180hp and 200ft.lbs this spring. future mods....cam, rods, greddy emanage, intake manifold, maybe pistons..and thats probably it. so i dont need a 400hp clutch.

What do you think...
2100(HDSS- heavy dute disc with extreme plate)
235fl.lbs or somin like that
or
2600(XTSS - extreme disc with extreme plate)
270 ft.lbs

2100... it's easier to replace a clutch every 3-4 years than it is to tear up your bottom end.

plus, clutches are RATED at that... there is a slight safety margin there over and above.

finally, you spray... you don't spray all the time. For occasional use, I don't see it being a problem.

there.... edited

So i'm assuming what you meant to say was for me to get the 2100 right?

i'll edit the post

ocnce again teh act 2600 is a huge clutch..awd talons runnign 300-400 hp use thsi clutch it stands up to a 300 hp awd launch so it is way oever kill...dsm guy's running fwd always go for the 2100 so it it can hold a high hp fwd talon then it can hold anything you can throw at it...2100 is what you want adn need...2600 would probobly blow your master cylinder aswell from the pedel pressure
