on 92-95 civics...why do you need to c hange axel when changing a cv joint?

ok man listen, you could buy just the inner/outer cv joint from honda and all the bearings and such cuz they are all sold separatly, or you can get a rebuilt one for like 100$ for the whole shaft, you do the math

I know 6th gens, you have to replace the whole axle, cuz the cv joint is part of the axle... no ifs ands or buts, you pooch a joint your buying a new axle...
sux eh.. same with those damn wheel bearings.. 210 bux for friggin hub and bearing assy, because they decided to make it all one peice..
On the bright side it does make for a quick, easy, clean installs!! I always hate replaceing cv boots and joints... its such a crappy job....popping in a whole new axle is so much more fun..
