2002 Civic Si

I'm getting one brand new next saturday.... I wont be getting this car for speed, what appeals is the low gas mileage. But, if I decided to go all out with this car,,, what the hell can I do with it? Do any engine swaps fit in the 2002?

I looked at the motor and almost cried... I'm going from a 250ish hp awd turbo car down to 127hp non turbo.

just wondering, if you bought this car for gas mileage, why would you go all out and swap the engine and start modding it? doesnt that defeat the pupose of buying the car for its gas mileage?

you can't put nitrous on the new cars without extensive mods.

1995 eagle talon tsi awd

i had a 3" full exhaust
injen intake
boost controller 15psi
greddy upper and lower ic pipes
greddy type s blow off valve
17" split spoked rims
X drilled rotors
S-AFC

ported exhaust manifold and o2 housing..

I think thats it... Meh the car really went, but when things broke it was a major pain in the A$$.

250hp was when it ran well, which was almost never, right?. So 250hp a 1/4 of the time is like 62.5hp, so 127hp all the time shouldn't be anything you need to be complaining about.

Ya, I'm sure it did when it ran....my buddy has a Talon and it's down half the time. And when it's down, I could push my car faster than his cuz it's lighter....and if he's beating me, I'll just start mine and drive off All I'm saying is I'd trade power for reliability any day and I would't bitch about it either. But since I can afford to have both power and reliability, I don't have to compromise.

K24 from CRV or 03 Accord will fit...

maybe with an abundance of cleverness you can fit the 260 hp V6
