2000 DX SE rims

What can anyone tell me about the rims that come as part of the 2000 'special edition' package hatchbacks? 14x5.5", JDM... How are they performance-wise, i.e light, durable? What's a good price for them?

cheers!
dave

I know the rims you're talkin about...
They're really nice and I was considering them until I was able to get my hands on some SiR's
They're not too light but also not ridicoulously heavy. They're durable since they're aluminum alloy(aren't all Honda rims?)
Personally I wouldn't pay more than $500 for the set and thats with tires with lots of tread left, since they only are 14"ers.
Good luck!

I just remembered something else - are these rims also used on the Integra, but with the 'H' replaced by an 'A'? Just getting into the scene, but now that I own a Honda, I notice them a lot more.

(Had a VW Golf, but had a very bad experience and swear I'll never buy another one and won't promote one neither.)

The Integra rims are pretty much the same but they're 15ers. That and they have the A instead of the H centre caps.
I know the rims you mean and I think they came on the Integra GSR(a guy that used to work with me has them)

I'm sure someone on here can answer better for you.

Whats wrong with the VW, besides when they break they are so damn expensive. I like em but cant afford the repair bills!

stay away from VW

You hit the nail on the head Silver
<rant on>
- the injection pump on my second-hand Golf seized up on me, costing a $1500 repair bill. Doing some research before taking VW to arbitration, I find out this is the second time it happened! VW fought and said I pumped a tank full of water through, the arbitrator didn't know any better so I lost. I traded the Golf in for a brand new Civic, and on the way home with the Golf, guess what - the pump blew up again and I had to fork over another $1500 to fix the car I tried to dump...grrr...
