FS: JVC eAViNU Portable GPS Navigation System w/ 20gig Harddrive
I picked up a brand new JVC eAViNU Portable GPS Navigation System (KX-PX9B) about a month ago online, and long story short- as much as I think that it's nifty and fun to use, it's not worth the money to me.
The main reason is that I've used it probably a total of 10 times at most since I got it since I'm too lazy to mount it everytime I get in my car, and I'm afraid to leave it mounted and have it stolen since my car attracts enough attention from passer-bys as it is. Of note, I've used the unit to find a Sunoco (only ultra94 for me!), to find a sports bar, and to go to Blue Mountain.
My favourite features are the 13 million points of interest, and the 5 gigs of space that you can use to store music and videos. The POIs are updated as of summer last year, and you can download any new versions from the JVC website.
The unit is in 10/10 condition and the only thing that's missing from the box is the dash mounting pad, which is a pad you stick to your dash so that the mounting arm can suction to that instead of your windshield.
Here's an example of how versatile the mounting arm is, it allowed me to mount my GPS out of the way of everything and still be easily accessible:
