two ways to take care of this:
cheap and easy way:
buy a convex mirror from CT and stick it on the corner of the driver sidemirror glass.
bit more expensive and more harder to do:
you get the driver's side mirror glass from USDM car and replace it with the jdm unit. (this is what I have done before)
