I have a Roadview RDM-5 Double Din indash DVD player with touchscreen. I have had the unit since last year. I paid about $500 due to brokerage fees. Roadview is now known as Concept Mobile. This unit was actually featured at the CEMA show as a lower cost alternative to the likes of Pioneer, Eclipse, Alpine and Kenwood. The deck has been very reliable unlike the cheap $300 indash units you buy on eBay. What I love about it is that it plays all kinds of formats (including DIVX, XVID etc) even though it is not listed in the feature lists I found on the internet. There are a couple of things I really like about this deck. The interface is really nice The $300 chinese decks have an ugly user interface, it looks like you are running dos. The user interface on this is as good as what you see on the more expensive ones, with proper buttons and colours on the screen. The disk browser is very efficient as well. Secondly, the unit looks completely OEM, it looks exactly like the Navigation units that come with the G2 Acura 3.2TL and 3.5RL. The head unit even supports 4.1 dolby digital audio and has digital output (SPDF) as well. It has an input jack in the front for mp3 players and RCA composite input for additional video source. Like the other units, it also has back up camera input. You can add a TV tuner module to this as well. To the best of my knowledge, the Jensen VM9315 TV tuner will work with this. You can also add on GPS touch screen navigation if you can get your hands on it (it is very rare but I have someone's contact who offered to sell it to me for $215 shipped - which is a steal because they go for over $500).

The unit itself is in absolutely excellent condition. The remote has wear on it - just the paint at the bottom has rubbed off not broken or cracked. The only thing wrong with it is that the power button on the unit doesnt work to to power on and off you have to use the remote; its not a big deal as I usually dont turn off my radios when I shut off my car.



It is currently wired to a Pre 1998 Honda wiring harness, so if you have a Pre 1998 Honda, this will be a direct plug and play for you. If you have a Bose or Factory amp then you dont need to bypass it as I will include a PAC OEM2 Line Level Convertor for $30, that way you don't have to splice any wires or bypass your amp. This is a double din unit and drops right into the factory double din slot.


I also have a scan converter, which allows you to connect a computer to the rear RCA jack so that you can use a laptop/small desktop for navigation or ipod interface.


I plan on selling my car soon so I want to recover the money I have invested in it, I am in no hurry to sell so I will only be considering reasonable offers.
