FS: 1993 Honda Civic Si - JDM H22A

I tried selling this just before winter, but didn't make much sense since most people wouldn't wanna buy something like this then.. So lets try again, since spring is just around the corner..

1993 Honda Civic SI Hatchback w/JDM H22A

- 1 Previous Owner
- VIN # 2HGEH3386PH007379

Drivetrain Details

- 1995 ODB1 JDM H22A Motor with 20-40KM approximately.
- 200HP / 160TQ STOCK
- Polished Head
- Original JDM Prelude Cable shift Linkage (Not Conversion)
- Dual Core Civic Radiator
- HCP Polyurethane Race Engine Mounts
- New OEM Clutch Kit (Clutch, Pressure Plate, Release Bearing)
- New OEM Timing Belt
- New OEM Water Pump
- New OEM Platnium NGK Spark Plugs
- New OEM Spark Plug Wires
- New OEM Distributor Rotor
- New JDM Distributor Cap
- New Prelude Oxygen Sensor
- New 93' Integra Driveshafts
- All New Prelude Hoses
- 4 Wheel Disc Brakes
- All New 'Premium' Quality Pads
- Chipped P28 Ecu With Tuned H22 Fuel/Ignition Maps
- All New Wires (Soldered & Shrink Wrapped)
- Complete 2.5" Downpipe Back Exhaust
- Magnaflow Dual Tip Stainless steel Muffler
- Oversized 2.5" Resonator
- 2.5" Ram Air Intake
- All 4 New Yokohama 195 Tires (80% tread left)
- 93' Integra Front Suspension (Not Installed)

Exterior

- Completely Stock
- 347KM on Body
- Original Metallic Green Paint
- Clean and Solid Undercar
- No Accidents

Only rust on rear quarter panels and a little on driver side door. Aside from that the body is in great shape..

Interior

- Completely Stock
- Immaculate Shape
- No rips or excessive wear on any seats.
- No cracks on any interior mouldings
- Power Sunroof
- Power Mirrors
- Added Power Locks
- Prestige Starter Kill Alarm. (Wired to Power Locks)
- Original JDM 1 Piece Leather Prelude Shifter.
- All Internals work perfectly.

Car has been stored since January before all the snow started.. Drove it around a few times and started it once a week to make sure everything stayed in good shape. It's still stored, I'd like to sell it asap, I need the money for a new project

Runs perfect, has a lot of power under 4000 RPM and is just unbelievable after 5000rpm into vtec! Drive it normally and you'll get over 475KM / TANK! That's almost better mileage than a stock civic! Absolute monster, but hides itself very well

All the above parts were replaced when the swap was done by myself, so everything has about maximum 10K on it. The car will need NOTHING besides oil changes for the next 90,000KM!

$8,000 AS IS ** FIRM**

- Needs a new windshield, because the old one has a big crack.
- Cert paper and etest..

THAT'S ALL!

OR

$8,500 CERT / ETESTED

SERIOUS INQUIRES ONLY PLEASE!

nope, only weighs about 60lbs more than a B18.. take out PS and A/C with the brackets and it's just same..

It's pretty much a myth..

You can get a custom bracket and a different belt.. It is possible, just expensive for the bracket..

lol, you still remember?

Sitting on stock suspension, yeah it obviously won't handle as well as a D16, but do up the suspension right and it'll handle just as good as the rest..

The main benefit here is that this car can be driven daily, just like any car.. When you need power it's there, even at low rpms unlike most B-series. The fact that everything has been replaced means no maintenance for a long time. On top of that it can keep up with quite a few 13 second big boys out there and still maintains honda reliability to the fullest, cuz after all it is a STOCK MOTOR. Hell, the tranny has much less strain considering it's in a much lighter car..

A h22 on good suspension will handle the same if not better than any other civic setup. Plus its not recommmended to run on stock suspension and if youre going to go through the trouble of doing an h22 swap you might as well do the suspension anyways.

All these h22 myths have been proven wrong over and over again. All these stories about h22 swaps only running in straight lines and being too heavy all come from people who've never experienced or been in civic with the swap. The Only complaint ive heard about this swap is the car rattles a lot more than stock which isnt a surprise.

AC Brackets are also available (custom made) for those who complain about no AC http://www.jdms h i t.com/hcp/EGacbracket.jpg
(take out the spaces in the url)

Bump for an awesome civic.
