FS: 1992 Civic VX Hatchback

Okay, my friend posted this car for sale exactly one week ago... I bought it off of him, but it turns out I can't afford the insurance. SO, it's up for sale again.

Here are some quick specs:

YEAR: 1992
MAKE: Honda
MODEL: Civic
TRIM: VX
COLOUR: Red on Back
KMS: 186k

EXTRAS: Tinted Windows, Rebuilt Tranny, New Clutch, Pioneer AM/FM/CD Deck, Sony XPlod Components, Ractive Muffler, Si Front Seats, New Distributor Cap & Rotor, New Spark Plugs,

The VX is the lightest EG model, it has no power options whatsoever, but it's AMAZING on gas... i'm at about half tank right now and i've driven 425kms!! The body has rust and the paint is very dull, interior is in very good condition. I wuold love to keep this as the ultimate daily driver or even another EG project car, but I just can't.

Since I grabbed this a week ago, I replaced the shift bushings, swapped front bumpers (one on the car was chipping and half black), fixed the stereo (no sound) and cleaned it up a bit.

Damn, this car has be AROUND!

I was about to buy it for $1200, guess you were the one who offered more. Too bad, I could have used the transportation.

what does it need to cert and emission?
damn.... vx are about 900km city on a full tank!

As far as I know... everything's okay with the car

I checked the Ball Joints, CV Boots, Shocks, Bulbs, etc and everything seems like it would pass. The only thing I haven't really looked at are the brakes, but they aren't uneven or make any noises so I don't think there would be a problem with those either.

And yes, this car is amazing on gas... I really wish I could keep it for the ultimate daily driver.

VX's have nothing... no power steering, tilt steering, intermittant wipers, rear wiper, etc, etc

That's why it's so light, good on gas and pretty quick too
