FS: 1990 Civic HB CX AUTO (Winter Beater)
#1
FS: 1990 Civic HB CX AUTO *SOLD*
Hi,
I have this car back up for sale again, I originally put this car up for sale while waiting for my new car, and it was just bad timing on my part. I have my new car in, and now have an extra car sitting here.
Okay, before I go into what definitely needs to be fixed, my price is $200 obo.
I'm located in toronto, by Queen and Lansdowne.
Dash reads: 265k
Pros:
-SI seats
-SI dash with reverse Indiglo Headlights
-Engine runs well
-front brakes are good
-KN air filter
-Besides bad muffler, it will pass emissions without any problems
Cons:
-Terrible Paint Job (I got scammed by my well trusted mechanic of 4 years, and I never went to him again)
-Squeaking sounds (probably needs new springs, font and back)
-Rust (typical rust)
-Needs a replacment Headlight/Highbeam switch as the headlights won't go on anymore. Definitely the headlight switch as it was a slow death for the switch.
-Gas tank Leaks when it is full. Filling up halfway works fine
-Muffler is about to klonk out
-needs new carpet
-needs new horn
*there may be a couple of things, but those are the major ones
Oddities:
-14inch black steelies in the front/13inch rusty silver steelies on the back
-no stereo
-mismatched interior panels
That's about it really... If I can donate the car for a tax write off, I wouldn't mind doing that as well.
Also, another side note. From talking with people that were interested in the car before. Sometimes people expect a free lunch when getting a car. I'm selling this car AS-IS, and just use common sense of what to expect out of a car when someone is asking $200 for it.
take care,
