true BUT,

XM radio is US based, however you can register simply by providing any US address (They do not check, and I can provide a US address for the buyer as well). I can prove hat the radio is working in Canada for any potential buyers.

All they require is a credit card for activation, that is all. Many other Canadians are using XM and haven't had any problems with activation.

Yep all they care about is that they get their money, I signed up by using the address of a company in the States and I've had no problems, been using it for almost a year now.
